Jamie has been the Dodgers bat boy
since the team's inception in 2002.  He
travels to both home and away games
when he is not busy playing on his own
Peewee baseball and lacrosse teams.


1.  What was the first sport that you played?        
Lacrosse

2.  At what age did you start playing baseball and at what level?        
T-ball at age 5

3.  What number do you wear and is there any significance to it?        
#3 – I started wearing it when I was 3 years old in lacrosse.

4.  Day games or Night games and why?        
Day games – no mosquitoes.

5.  Where do you see yourself in 10 years?        
In University - on a baseball scholarship and playing for the Texas Longhorns

6.  What is your favourite restaurant to eat at?        
McDonalds

7.  How do you want to be remembered when you leave the Dodgers?        
The best bat boy ever!!!

8.  If you could have dinner with three people, living or deceased, who would
they be?    
                    
Wayne Gretzky, Brian McCabe, Manny Ramirez

9.  What is your dream job outside of playing baseball?
An NHL Left-winger for the Toronto Maple Leafs

10.  If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Boston, to see the Red Sox play at Fenway

11.  Do you have any phobias?
Spiders

12.  What is your favourite television show?        
The Family Guy, Video on Trial

13.  If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you
have with you?
Cell phone, food, some friends

14.  If you could trade places with one person, who would it be and why?
Alex Rodriguez because he plays for the Yankees, is rich and good-looking.

15.  What are your pet peeves?        
My brother and Whitby hockey players

16.  Why should fans come out and watch the Oshawa Dodgers?        
To see the best bat boy in the game

17.  Which Oshawa Dodger player do you most admire/ look up to?
Matt Tosoni because he is a good player and has worked really hard after his
illness.

18.  What are your three favourite PS2/PSP games?
MVP 06 NCAA Baseball (PS2); Madden 2006 (PSP); FIFA 2006 (PS2)

19.  What are your two most memorable athletic moments not related to
baseball.
  
1. 2005/2006 35 game point streak in hockey;
2. 2004/2005 Barrie hockey tournament which we won.  I was named tournament
MVP, won the skills competition and scored 22 out of 35 of my teams goals in
the tournament.

20.  What are your baseball/career goals?        
To get to the MLB and if that doesn't work out to get a university education while
on a baseball scholarship and go to law school.

21.  Detail three Career Highlights:        
Getting Bat Boy of the Canadian Championships; Leading my mosquito team in
hitting and winning the EOBA Championships and playing and pitching at Rogers
Centre.

22.  How do you spend your time when you are not playing baseball?
PS2, PSP, Hockey, Poker, MSN

23.  What other sports do you play?        
Lacrosse, Hockey – school soccer & basketball

24.  What is the best present you have ever received?
A trip to spring training and Disney World from my parents for Christmas where I
met Roy Halladay and Vernon Wells.

25.  Why is your hair dyed red?
We are in the quarterfinals of our hockey playoffs against Whitby (best 3/5 series
- currently tied 2-2) and our whole team dyed their heads red.

26.  Do you have any bad habits?
Biting my nails; laziness

27.  Do you have any superstitions?
In my hockey playoffs to be the first one out on the ice.

28.  What is your most memorable moment as an Oshawa Dodger?
The first time the Dodgers took a nice bus (a big orange one with couches and a
big screen t.v.) to the final playoff game in Brantford in 2003.  Some of the
players were playing a game and they tricked Chris England into having eye black
all over his face.
