The Oshawa Dodgers would like to congratulate bat boy Jamie May on
his team's Gold Medal finish in this past weekend's CNE Peewee
All-Star Tournament.  Jamie was a combined 3 for 7 on the weekend in
three games with a walk and 3 RBI and caught all but two innings of
the tournament.  In Sunday's final versus Hamilton the Eastern Ontario
Baseball All-Stars mounted a late inning comeback to go on to defeat
last year's silver medalists 11-9 in extra innings.  The EOBA All-Star
team is comprised of players from Port Hope, Peterborough,
Clarington, Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax and Pickering who were selected in
tryouts in late July to compete in two tournaments representing Eastern
Ontario.  The second will take place September 15-16 in Newmarket.
Team Members are: Jamie May, McKenzie Sullivan & Ryan Norris
(Oshawa Legionaires), Owen Sharp, Brodie Harkness & Logan Walters
(Clarington Orioles), Cal Quantrill & Tyson Robinson (Port Hope River
Rats), J.D. Osborne (Whitby Chiefs), Jason Carroll (Peterborough
Tigers), Jeremy Lee & Daniel Moy (Pickering Red Sox), Glenn Reeves
& Jordan Hackbush (Ajax Spartans) and coaches Hugh Walters & Rob
Sharp (Clarington Orioles) and Mike Robinson & Paul Quantrill (Port
Hope River Rats).
