Ryan Fleming, a 6’3” outfielder from Whitby,
Ontario enters his first season with the Dodgers.  
Fleming brings great power potential from the left
side and is a strong defensive outfielder with an
above average arm.  Ryan played baseball,
volleyball, hockey and golf at Henry Street
Secondary School.  He was an All-Ontario selection
and MVP in volleyball, while also winning awards in
golf and hockey and hit six homeruns to go along
with a .650 batting average during his Senior
baseball season.

Ryan also has an Intercounty link.  His uncle, Ron
Stead, pitched for the very first Team Canada
baseball team and has been inducted into the
Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame after being a 10-
time All-Star and a four-time IBL MVP.  Ryan is
currently a Freshman at Division I, University of
Evansville where he attends with another Dodger
newcomer Nate Smith.
