Oshawa Dodgers pitcher Evan Grills showed
why he is one of the top ranked Canadians in
the 2010 MLB draft as he dominated the
Kansas City Royals Scout team at the 2009
World Wood Bat Championships with the
Ontario Blue Jays this past October. In five
innings, the 6’4” LHP allowed only one run
on three hits while striking out nine batters to
upset the Kansas City squad 4-1.

final camp outing, in his two innings of work, Grills allowed only one run on
two hits with a walk and a hit batsman while striking out three Atlanta Braves’

and divides his time between the Ontario Blue Jays, Canadian Junior National
Team and Oshawa Dodgers during the summer.
