Sunday July 19th is Troy May Memorial Day in conjunction with
Whitby Minor Baseball Day at Kinsmen Stadium.  July 19th marks
three years to the day that Dodgers Founder and Owner Troy
May was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident en route to
the Oshawa Dodgers game in Kitchener.  With the support of the
fans, players, volunteers and coaches the May family has been
able to keep the Dodgers alive in Troy’s memory – the team he
was so passionate about.  In celebration of Troy and his
commitment not only to the Oshawa Dodgers but minor baseball,
we also welcome Whitby Minor Baseball Association registrants
who have received complimentary tickets to the game. Selected
WMBA teams have also been asked to participate in a pre-game
clinic and take BP with the Dodgers prior to the 2pm start versus
the Guelph Royals.  The Oshawa Dodgers ask for your support in
attending this very important game in recognition of Troy May's
contribution to baseball in Durham Region.
