London Majors 5, Oshawa Dodgers 1
In London, Kevin MacDonald smacked a two-run home run in the
fourth inning to pace the Majors to a 5-1 win over the Oshawa
Dodgers in a make-up game from their rainout on Sunday.
Chris Robinson was three-for-four with a double and Chuck
Roberts added a pair of hits in the win.
Rob Robinson (2-1) picked up the win after allowing one run in 2
1/3 innings of relief for starter Greg Goss, who threw 4 2/3
scoreless innings in his first appearance of the season. Troy
Kiesling closed the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
Steve Butterworth (1-2) allowed all five runs in 7 1/3 innings and
was two-for-two at the plate. Darryl Reid added two hits, including
a double, and drove in Oshawa's run in the seventh inning.
