Barrie Wins; Calway Notches 200th Game
Alex Borgo with a two-run home run to left field led the Barrie Baycats to
a 4-2 victory over the Oshawa Dodgers in one of two Intercounty
Baseball League games played tonight.

Highlighting the play of the Dodgers was designated hitter Ken Calway
who was appearing in his 200th game. Calway singled, sacrificed to
advance a player, and batted in one run.  Calway holds the distinction of
being the only player to play in each season since the team's inception
in 2002and holds team records in most offensive categories including
career hits, doubles and homeruns.  Jared McCord singled twice for the
Baycats.

Adam Banski got the victory for the Baycats going six innings while
allowing one earned run on three hits.  He struck out two batters.  Kyle
Paine was credited with the save.  For the Dodgers, Aaron Gordon went
six and one third innings in the losing cause.  He gave up three earned
runs on three hits and a walk while striking out five of the batters he
faced.
