Borjas Leads Brantford to 13-2 Victory

Raul Borjas led the Brantford Red Sox with two hits including a
bases-loaded home run in the third inning off Oshawa starter Scott
Kelly enroute to a 13-2 Red Sox win over the visiting Dodgers in the
first game of a doubleheader in Arnold Anderson Stadium today at
Brantford.

Brett Gray got the win for the Red Sox going five innings wile allowing
six hits and one earned run.  He had struck out three batters and
walked three others.  For Oshawa, Kelly went two and one third innings
giving up nine hits and 12 runs; five were earned.  He walked three and
struck out three.  Gord Robertson and Blake Prior worked in relief.

Borjas had five RBIs in the game and scored a run while Wayne
Forman added two singles and three RBIs.  Dave Parsons had a tough
day at the plate missing the cycle by one.  He connected for single,
double and triple and three RBIs.  For Oshawa, Steve Lewis had a
double; Darin Sawyers had two singles and batted in a run.  Shivam
Bhan had a pair of singles.
