Brantford Sweeps Doubleheader
Lee Delfino put the Red Sox in front to stay with his three run home run
with one out in the first inning as Brantford went on to sweep both ends
of the twinbill with an 8-2 victory over the Dodgers.
Brantford pitcher Mark Ferguson went seven innings for the win. He
allowed four hits, two earned runs, and two walks while striking out five
batters. Greg Byron took the loss for Oshawa. He lasted two innings
during which he gave up six earned runs on as many hits and one walk.
Tom Colbary and Kevin Wallace pitched in relief.
Delfino paced Brantford with a double, home run, and three RBIs.
Adrian Kerr added a single, a double, and a RBI while Adam Vella
singled twice and batted in a run. Dave Parson had two hits including a
double. For Oshawa, Craig Megill contributed a double and an RBI.
