Hamilton Holds Dodgers to Five Hits

Kevin Mailloux, the Junior call-up from the Windsor Junior Selects
continued to wield a hot bat tonight to lead the Hamilton Thunderbirds to
an 11-1 win over Oshawa Dodgers in IBL action in Kinsmen Stadium at
Oshawa.

Mailloux connected for five hits including three doubles and five RBIs.  
Adam Strongman and Ian Choy each drove in two runs to support the
Thunderbirds.  Phil Stone had two hits including a triple for the Dodgers  
and Ken Calway had three hits including a double as their leading hitter.

On the mound, Derek Gordon picked up the victory going five innings
without allowing a run on two hits and four walks.  He had one strikeout.  
For the Dodgers, Scott Kelly (2-2-1) went four and one-third innings, and
allowed four earned runs.  He gave up seven hits and three walks while
striking out two batters.
