Dodgers Fall to Baycats: Look to Rebound Sunday

Barrie Baycats scored six times in the bottom of the third inning and
never looked back as they defeated the visiting Oshawa Dodgers 15-5 in
IBL action in Barrie tonight..

Barrie starter Brad Bissell got the win allowing five runs through six
innings nine hits and six walks.  He had relief help from Scott Price and
Kyle Payne.  Oshawa starter Greg Byron was charged with the loss.  He
was tagged for 10 runs on eight hits and a walk through two and
one-third innings.  Blake Prior, Shivam Bhan, and Tom Colbary worked in
relief.  

Brad McConnachie and Mike Welbourne had three hits each for Oshawa.
For Barrie, Glenn Jackson had four hits including a double with Ryan
Spataro adding three singles and two RBIs.  Jeff Cowan had a single, a
double, and four RBIs.  Toby Legacy added a double, a triple, and two
RBIs.

The Dodgers will host Barrie in a rematch of tonight's game at Kinsmen
Stadium on Sunday July 8th on EOBA baseball day.  All kids and
coaches wearing a jersey who are registered members of a minor
baseball team in the Eastern Ontario Baseball Association will be
admitted free of charge.
