Dodgers Pound Thunderbirds with 17 Hit Attack
The Oshawa Dodgers pounded out 17 hits to crush the Hamilton
Thunderbirds 15-4 at Bernie Arbour Stadium.
Brandyn Agnew picked up the win in relief for the Dodgers, allowing one
run on just two hits over 3 1/3 innings, striking out six and walking none.
He had plenty of support, as the Dodgers blew the game open with 12
runs in the final four innings.
Nate Smith had three hits and three RBI to pace the Oshawa attack,
while Sean Cunningham also had three hits and stole two bases
Brendan Emmett added two hits and two RBI for the Dodgers.
Dariel Saucedo was the loser for Hamilton, allowing six runs – five
earned – on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out two and walked
Tom Robertson had two hits for the Thunderbirds while Richard Rausch
had a double and two RBI.
