Baycats Defeat Dodgers for 2nd Time in
as Many Days

In Barrie, the Baycats pounded out 14 hits to beat the reeling Oshawa
Dodgers 11-4.
         
Paul Spoljairc got the win for the Baycats, his 60th in his IBL career in
the regular season, going eight innings. He allowed two runs on six hits
with seven strikeouts and three walks before Ryan Fisher allowed a pair
of runs in the ninth to finish up.
         
Randy Schwartz had four hits, including a pair of doubles, and scored
three runs for the Baycats. Jared McCord had three hits and drove in
two runs and Todd Betts had two hits, including a solo home run.
         
Brandon Agnew was the loser for Oshawa. He allowed six runs – three
earned – on eight hits with one walk over five innings as the struggling
Dodgers slipped to 14-17.
         
Kofi Osei-Aning had a solo home run and two hits for Oshawa.
