Brantford "Grilled" in Home Opener

In what was billed as a battle of two of the top pitchers in Canada,
Dodgers lefty Evan Grills came out on top with a 3-2 victory over the
defending IBL champion Brantford Red Sox.  With 20+ scouts on-hand
to witness this pitching match-up, 16-year-old Grills was in command
allowing only one earned run on 5 hits with four strikeouts for the
complete game victory.  Brantford's starter LHP Jake Eliopoulos lasted
only 4 innings allowing three runs on 1 hit while walking four.
Eliopoulos is eligible for the 2009 MLB amateur entry draft this June
where he is currently ranked 99th in North America.  Grills, eligible for
the 2010 draft, is ranked 33rd according to PG Crosschecker and
slated as the top Canadian.

Tyler Hibbert scored Oshawa's lone hit of the game as the Dodgers
managed to capitalize on three Brantford errors in the contest.
