Dodgers Win Second Game of Home and Home
Series with the Thunderbirds

In Hamilton, the Dodgers improved to 4-1 on the season with a 9-1
victory over the Hamilton Thunderbirds.

The Dodgers pounded out 17 hits and took advantage of four
Hamilton errors to move into a first place tie with the Brantford Red
Sox. Nick Purdy homered for the Dodgers while DH Peter Bako was
2-4 with 2 RBI.  Chris Nagorski got the win, allowing one run on two
hits over six innings with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Eric Cransberry was the losing pitcher, allowing five runs on five hits
over 1 2/3 innings. John Saporsantos had two hits for Hamilton.

With this second stellar pitching performance in as many days, the
Dodgers improved their league leading ERA to 1.57, not allowing an
earned run in either game this weekend.
