Dodgers Fall to .500 With Loss to Baycats

In Oshawa, the Barrie Baycats solidified their hold on first place with
a 6-1 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in the lone Intercounty Baseball
League Thursday night.

Jordan Lundberg and Donovan Latour each had three hits and an
RBI to lead the Baycats 14-hit attack. Stevie Lewis, Ryan Spataro
and Dave Latour each added two hits. Kyle Fillier had two hits
including a double for the Dodgers.

Doug Dimma (1-0), the second of five Barrie relievers, was the
winning pitcher, pitching two innings and allowing no hits or runs
with three strikeouts and one walk. Starter Adam Hawes only went
three innings, giving up the sole Oshawa run on three hits while
striking out two.

Oshawa starter Brandyn Agnew (2-2) took the loss, going 5 2/3
innings and allowing four runs, all earned, on 11 hits while striking
out four.
