Dodgers Take Game One of London Doubleheader
In the opener the Dodgers scored six runs in the second inning en
route to an easy 14-4 win.
The Dodgers had 19 hits in Game 1, including three by Sean Travers,
who also drove in four runs. Kyle Fillier also had three hits for the
winners and Osei-Aning hit a three-run homer in the fifth.
Adam Garner got the win, going five innings. He allowed four runs –
two earned – on four hits with two strikeouts and three walks before
Nick Dasilva pitched two perfect innings of relief, striking out five.
Adam Echlin lasted just two innings and took the loss, allowing six runs
on nine hits with three strikeouts. Richards had two hits and two RBI in
Game 1 for the Majors.
