Dodgers Winning Streak Snapped at Four

In Oshawa, Marc-Andre Major and two relievers combined on a five-
hitter, leading the Brantford Red Sox to a 5-2 win over the host
Dodgers.

Major went six innings, allowing two runs on four hits with five
strikeouts and two walks. Jon Ogiltree pitched a scoreless inning,
allowing one hit, and Stefan Strecker finished up for the save with
two perfect innings of relief as the Sox moved to within two games of
first place Barrie.

Jason Gotwalt had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run
for the Red Sox, while Josh McCurdy had an RBI double for the
winners, who scored the go-ahead run in the seventh and added a
pair of insurance runs in the ninth.

Chris Nagorski was the loser for the Dodgers. He went seven
innings, allowing three runs – two earned – on five hits with five
strikeouts and three walks. Jordan Castaldo had two hits for
Oshawa (17-17), while Sean Travers and Rickey Thomas both had
a hit and an RBI.
